Embryo transfer

To avoid multiple pregnancies, which run the risk of premature birth and obstetrical complications, the number of embryos transferred is defined by Belgian law. It dictates the age of the patient, the number of attempts and the quality of the embryo.

The pregnancy rate after embryo transfer is 35%.

under 36 1 embryo 1 to 2 embryos Never more than 2 embryos
from 36 to 39 2 embryos 2 embryos Never more than 3 embryos
from 40 to 42 No limit to the number
